The Story
Kristine Miller — Second-Generation Legacy Farmer
Rooted in Southern Oregon
I’m Kristine Miller, a second-generation grower rooted in the heart of Southern Oregon. My journey with plant medicine began long before it was legal—growing up in a family that risked everything to cultivate something we believed in.
Even in uncertain times, I witnessed the relief and hope it brought to people in our community. From a young age, I knew this plant wasn’t something to fear—it had the power to support healing and well-being. That understanding has guided my life’s work and inspired a lifelong commitment to growing clean, intentional, and sustainable wellness products.
From Survival to Stewardship
Family, Farming & the Future
When Oregon shifted toward legalization, I saw more than a business opportunity—I saw a chance to carry forward our family’s legacy in a way that created safety, stability, and pride.
At the time, I was raising two young daughters and in the process of adopting two more children. Moving into the legal market wasn’t just about compliance—it was about building a life rooted in love, healing, and protection. I wanted my children to grow up proud of who they are and where they come from.
Why I Created Cannafuse
Empowering Homegrown Wellness
Cannafuse was born from a deeply personal mission. My uncle, who lives on a reservation in Washington, struggled to find consistent, affordable hemp-based wellness products during cancer treatment.
I began making infusions for him at home using hemp strains I had grown myself. That experience opened my eyes—so many people were looking for natural ways to support their wellness but lacked access to clean, affordable, and reliable options. Many also didn’t know how to make it themselves.
That’s when the idea for Cannafuse was born.
I created the Cannafuse Pouch, a reusable silicone tool that empowers people to make their own hemp-infused oils at home. It's a simple, sustainable, and budget-friendly solution designed to help you take control of your wellness routine—using full-spectrum hemp the way nature intended.
A Note on Sourcing & Compliance
Transparency Matters
Because Oregon is a closed state, the cannabis I grow personally can only be sold within the state through licensed dispensaries. My licensed cannabis flower is not sold online.
The hemp used in Cannafuse products is separate—it’s sourced from trusted organic farms that meet strict federal compliance standards under the 2018 Farm Bill. Every batch is tested and verified to contain less than 0.3% Delta-9 THC, making it federally legal and available for shipment where allowed by law.
This means when you shop Cannafuse, you're getting safe, clean, hemp-derived products, grown with the same care and values I bring to everything I cultivate.
Southern Oregon Family Farms Co-op
Collaboration Over Competition
In a competitive industry, I believe in collaboration over competition. That’s why I helped found the Southern Oregon Family Farms Co-op—a collective of small, craft cannabis farms working together to preserve our independence and uphold the values that make Oregon cultivation unique.
We share knowledge, support one another, and advocate for sustainable practices and policies that protect legacy farmers and our way of life.
Raising Kids with Roots
Land, Family & Stewardship
Outside of Cannafuse, I’m raising my kids on a small cattle ranch, where we focus on land stewardship, food production, and responsibility. It’s a space where they grow their own food, care for animals, and learn the importance of giving back to the land and community.
It’s more than a home—it’s a living classroom that connects them to where their food and medicine come from.
